The best portable table saw can handle precision cutting and make the job easy by sliding the planks down the table and letting the blade do the work. However, you may have doubts about purchasing a table saw due to the price, or because of its size and weight. It is true that most table saws can take up a lot of room in a home work space and may be difficult to haul to the work site, but there are some brands of table saws that are designed especially to handle heavy projects while still being light enough to transport.

DEWALT DW745 10-Inch Compact Job-Site Table Saw

DEWALT DW745 10-Inch Compact Job-Site Table SawThis 10-inch table saw is one of the top-rated tools in its class. It comes with a telescoping rack and pinion fence that makes it flexible for cutting wider planks. The adjusters need no extra tools to use and make it fairly simple to use. The saw has a 20-inch rip capacity and has a compact 25.8 x 13.9 x 26.5 dimension while weighing only 45 pounds, making it easy to haul back and forth from the workplace. The only drawback when purchasing this saw is that the table stand that goes with it must be purchased separately.
